Monet. Picasso. Rembrandt. Famous artists have to start somewhere. That’s why Iowa State Bank’s Kool Kat Kids Klub is calling all artists ages 3 – 12 to participate in its “Money for Monet Kids Art Contest” by submitting a drawing of their piggy bank now through March 31, 2011. Winners will receive savings bonds as prizes and be featured in our Kids’ Page ad in the Algona Upper Des Moines newspaper. All piggy bank drawing entries will be featured on our website at www.BankISB.com
“Saving money in a piggy bank is one of the first financial lessons that kids learn. We’d like to get kids excited about saving money by encouraging kids to draw a picture of their piggy bank and rewarding the winners with cash prizes.” stated Kathy Nelson, Vice President, Consumer Banking. “Featuring children’s artwork on our website is a great way to start a conversation about saving while sharing kids’ talents with friends and family, near and far, on our website.”
Artwork in three age categories will be accepted: ages 3 – 6, ages 7 – 9, and ages 10 – 12. We will choose three winners at random in each age category. Children are invited to submit their piggy bank drawing created on a vertical piece of 8 ½” by 11’’ paper, along with a completed entry form by March 31, 2011. Entry forms are available at your local Iowa State Bank office and at www.BankISB.com. The contest is open to all kids ages 3 – 12; you do not have to be a member of the Kool Kat Kids Klub to participate. No purchase necessary. Need not be present to win. Winners will be notified after March 31, 2011.

How can I view the contest winners of the Kids Art Contest from March 2011?
My daughter won 1st place in her age group at the Ruthven bank.
Thanks.

Linda,
Apparently I made the changes to our website too quickly! My apologies. I will send an email with the ads featuring your daughter’s artwork. Congratulations to your daughter.
