Iowa State Bank is pleased to announce that Brenda J. Schutjer will assume the daily management duties of the Corwith and Wesley offices. Schutjer will oversee the needs of customers in the Corwith and Wesley markets as Iowa State Bank continues to serve customers in the area.
“We’re pleased to serve the Corwith and Wesley communities. Community involvement is what community banks do beyond the daily business of banking. Partnering with the CWL Panthers on our school loyalty card, and working with kids in our Kool Kat Kids Club are just a couple of ways that we help keep our communities active,” stated Schutjer.
Schutjer has over 33 years of banking experience serving the loan needs of customers. She and her husband, Jeff, make their home near Titonka and are the parents of two adult children. Schutjer is active in her local church including the choir and board of education as well as a member of the Hancock County Economic Development Corporation.
With offices in Algona, Corwith, Ruthven and Wesley, Iowa State Bank has assets of $275 million with over 84 years of service to the area as a locally-owned, community bank.
