If you're making changes to your personal information within Online Banking at www.BankISB.com, or if you are making a transfer between your Iowa State Bank accounts, we've added some additional security features for your protection.

Changing Your Personal Information?

Online Banking users can update several items through out online banking system without contacting the bank by phone or in-person. Find these items in the heading marked "Profile" within Online Banking. This information includes:

  • Your password
  • Challenge Questions for you online banking log-in
  • Email address
  • Security Challenge -- this is where you can update your mobile phone number
  • Phone number
  • Electronic statement preference
  • Mobile Banking device management

In an effort to give our users additional peace-of-mind when changing this information, users will receive a one-time passcode (OTP) that will be sent to the email currently on file in the user's online banking profile. The email will have the subject line: Iowa State Bank OTP Request and will be sent from CustomerService@BankISB.com. (OTP stands for One Time Passcode.) As always, if you have questions about email messages you receive, please contact your local banking office by phone at the number you know and trust.

Transferring Money?

If you're transferring $10,000 o r more between your Iowa State Bank accounts in Online Banking, you'll be asked to re-authenticate your intentions with a one-time passcode. Users will receive a one-time passcode at the email address on file within Online Banking. The one-time passcode must be entered before the transfer can be completed. This is just another way we can help protect our customers.
