Iowa State Bank of Algona announces that loan officers Grant Carroll and Stacy Bohl successfully completed the Iowa Bankers Association/Iowa State University Agriculture Credit School held recently.
The school is an intense two-week program sponsored by the Iowa Bankers Association adn Iowa State University. Student attend one week during their first year and complete the remaining week the following year. At the school students participate in rigorous coursework, gaining insights into risk assessment, compliance requirements, and strategic decision-making in agriculture lending. The class advances a better understanding of the agriculture lending industry allowing students to better meet the needs of their customers and serve their local communities.
Carroll joined the bank in 2023 and serves customers in Kossuth and Hancock counties through Iowa State Bank's offices in Algona, Corwith and Wesley. Bohl joined the bank in 2019 and serves customers from the bank's office in Ruthven.
